Shakin' It

We were up to all sorts of trouble this weekend. Well, not really, but we did have a great time laughing it up with friends, sharing deep thoughts, telling jokes and playing a few games. Made a nice trip up to the lake and created a few new memories with some amazing people.

Friday afternoon/evening kicked off our weekend with a stop out at The Hatchery to see my cousin and his man. Of course, we enjoyed some delectable bar food and a few cocktails; thank you, again,  for the wonderful night and entertainment. The games were able to continue back at the lake place. A fun new game called Cards Against Humanity made for an evening of...amusement.

Saturday turned into a Snowed-In day!! We were going to head off to the winery and maybe into town. However, it rained and rained and rained and then snowed and snowed and snowed. Needless to say, it wasn't worth saying on those roads. So, back to the lake place and on with the snow shoes. With the snow coming down like crazy, we trekked across the lake and back again. Holy-heart-attack on a stick! That was a work out. Phwew! Another evening of laughter, games and wonderful conversation. Topped off with a delicious sausage and kraut dinner with the most perfectly prepared veggies! I couldn't think of anything better.

A few text messages with Paul throughout Saturday had me taking photos of eating delicious, non-healthy treats all dang day. I hope they weren't too tempting...

Sunday was a day of clean-up and waiting for a washing machine to complete its 15 minute fill cycle. Holy goodness...

I hope for many more.

PS - We decided to watch the much facebooked about JT hosted what a riot! Loved it.
